Myrtleford is renowned as Victoria’s North Eastern Gateway to the Alps, but locals and visitors know it is so much more than a town to pass through.
Interpretive by Design (then Shell Design Partnership)worked with the Alpine Shire, Myrtleford Community Groups and the Historical Society to create a trail which tells Myrtleford’s story through text, illustrations and images etched into 14 contemporary, stainless steel sculptural structures. The trail was designed to grow with the town, and since the initial 14 sites, more structures have been added to the trail as Myrtleford’s history is made.
